StuffWorks shows viewers how to play high definition MKV videos on their PS3! First, visit www.mkv2vob.com and visit the forums. Under announcements click on the heading 'New Releases and Downloads. Click on the thread that reads "Download MKV2VOB here". Click on the download link, save the file to your computer, download and click run to install the program. When downloaded, open the program. Under output type, click which output type you would like, select the language as English, and the transcoding codec as x264 High Bitrate (or whichever setting your computer can handle). Next, you can change the video settings as you wish such as, always transcode or show subtitles. After this, you will click Browse in order to find the file that you wish to convert. Pick a source file and next a destination for the newly converted file. After doing so, click 'convert'! Your newly converted file will now be in the destination you picked and you can view it on your PS3! Enjoy!
